I'd really recommend Gary who recently did some work for me in a new property (replacing a gas hob, assembling furniture, wall-mounting a TV and more). Everything was done really efficiently and to a high standard. I won't hesitate to get back in touch if I ever need anything else done in the property.

I was doing a complete renovation of my flat in central Edinburgh and I decided to enlist Gary's services for the lot. He carried out numerous smaller tasks such as electrical, dry wall hole fixing, alarm fitting as well as laying laminate flooring for the majority of the property and paiting the walls. I was very satisfied with the outcome, the results speak for themselves. Gary has a keen eye for detail and finishing things off nicely such as touching up the old skirting board which looked pretty beaten up, but after he was done, they look as if they were brand new!

We contracted Gary to do a full kitchen renovation. The work included some repair in the water pipes and the sink, floor tiling, wall tiling, wall painting, new electric wires, new ceiling light fitting and the assembly of an IKEA kitchen with an extractor fan included. And Gary did an excellent job. From the very beginning he was meticulous and precise. He was incredibly knowledgeable about every step of the work. He gave us valuable insights into how the pipes and the sink should be fixed. He seemed to know everything about the trade and he amazed us by his attention to detail. And you can tell how much he likes and enjoys his job. We needed to fit in a bespoke unit to finish the kitchen and it was a delight to see how much care Gary put into designing and making those little units. We could tell he put his heart in his work which is a quality we admire in a tradesperson. And he did it all for an incredibly reasonable price. Overall, we are absolutely delighted with our new kitchen and can't recommend Gary enough. He really is the Great Scott Handyman 🙂
